This was reported on the official website of the head of the republic, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’m glad to talk with medical students today, including those guys who will be initiated into students at Donetsk National Medical University today. I am deeply convinced that by enrolling here to study, you have received an exceptional opportunity to become first-class specialists. Never forget about this and don't miss your chance.
The decision to devote my life to medicine speaks for itself. This means that you consciously stepped up to protect the health and preserve the lives of people. This is very difficult, responsible and honorable. You are expected to take your studies seriously and actively participate in the social activities of the university, in its scientific and cultural life.
But, besides this, being a student at Donetsk National Medical University named after Gorky means feeling personally responsible for the future of our country, for the health of its citizens,” Denis Pushilin reminded the students.
The head of the DPR also noted the merits of medical students in the fight against coronavirus infection.
“The high quality of training of medical personnel at the university is confirmed by state accreditation in the Russian Federation. The volunteer movement is actively developing here.
It is impossible not to note the merits of students in the fight against coronavirus infection. So try, study, remain faithful to the traditions of your alma mater. Congratulations on the start of the new school year!” – added the head of the republic.
