Pushilin promised not to give in to internal enemies working in the interests of Ukraine
Constructive opposition is necessary for any healthy state, but it should not be confused with outright “white ribbon people” who work for the enemy.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this in an interview with the Union TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In general, I have a good attitude towards the opposition in terms of existence in any state. There must be different opinions, they must be expressed.
Some people get confused and don’t see the line between what is opposition and what is essentially working for the enemy. Alas, we see many manifestations of very destructive actions and steps. The most striking thing is when this happens anonymously, and when no matter what happens, any actions of the authorities - bad, good, varied, they criticize absolutely everything.
And sometimes it’s worse when they point out the weak points of the republic, and reveal this to our open enemy - to Ukraine. And our enemies are very successfully using this, and Ukraine is inflating this to serious proportions. And that’s why we got here, inside, certain figures, always offended and insulted, constantly criticizing everything, who openly work for the enemy,” Pushilin noted.
He stressed that the situation is under the control of the government and the DPR intelligence services.
“One could ignore this, but one way or another some part of our citizens reads this, believes in these rumors and unverified information. Therefore, you have to react one way or another.
I can say that there is a clear understanding of who is behind even anonymous channels. Here it would be a mistake for many pseudo-anonymous telegrammers to believe that somewhere someone is showing weakness. All steps are weighed and commensurate with the threats, as well as the current element of the republic’s development,” the head of state added.
He also invited the constructive opposition not just to criticize the actions of the authorities, but to take responsibility for the implementation of significant projects.
“But I propose to act according to the most optimal scenario. If you criticize something, suggest it. He suggested - take responsibility and do it. We are ready to give away even entire directions or sections. But with confidence that this will be implemented, and not just loud statements without any further steps,” Pushilin concluded.
