Pushilin promised to equalize salaries in the DPR with Russian ones
Despite the war, economic blockade and unrecognized status, the DPR government is working to significantly increase salaries and pensions in the republic.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this during a meeting with members of the “Good Russian People” club in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Salaries [in the DPR] leave much to be desired. They, like pensions, are an order of magnitude lower than in Russia. And we have to make very serious efforts to align this with the regions of the Russian Federation.
We need this, and we will work hard on it, and we hope to implement it in the foreseeable future. This is our task, which we set for ourselves, our government sets for itself, this must be done. People can understand that there is a war going on, that they are not recognized, but people need decent salaries and a decent standard of living,” Pushilin said.
