Pushilin visited two large factories in Gorlovka on a working visit
The head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin, during his visit to Gorlovka, visited two local enterprises - Istek LLC and branch No. 1 of KhimStilInvest LLC.

The head of state was accompanied by the Minister of Industry and Trade Vladimir Rushchak and the head of the Gorlovka city administration Ivan Prikhodko.
During the visit, the director of Istek LLC, Evgeniy Orekhovsky, spoke about the work of the enterprise, and also showed the main workshop of the coke oven battery. He said that the main types of products are blast furnace and coal coke of size class 10–40 mm, coke nuts, coal tar, and electrical energy.
More than 800 people work here. The plant's capacity is 70% loaded. The raw materials used at the plant are 90% purchased on the territory of the DPR and 10% imported from the Russian Federation and LPR. In February 2018, the company put into operation a cogeneration unit, which makes it possible to fully satisfy not only the plant’s electricity needs, but also supply electrical energy to the power system.
Evgeny Orekhovsky appealed to the head of state with a request to provide assistance in organizing tax holidays or to support the enterprise with other government programs during the pandemic. Denis Pushilin instructed to submit proposals to the relevant ministry for further discussion and decision-making.
After getting acquainted with the work of the enterprise, the head of the DPR met with the workforce and answered questions from the enterprise’s employees.
During the conversation, a complaint was made about the poor performance of the Phoenix mobile operator on the territory of the enterprise.
“In general, there are interruptions in the work of the mobile operator. New base towers coming soon. But it would be better to install a tower on the territory of the enterprise, and, as far as I know, ROS “Phoenix” has already come to you with this question, but there was a misunderstanding regarding the conclusion of the contract.
Accelerate the conclusion of contracts to resolve this issue as soon as possible. For my part, I will give instructions to ROS “Phoenix,” said Pushilin.
Having also discussed a number of other issues, the head of state thanked the specialists for their work for the benefit of the young republic.
“Thank you for staying at your jobs. Moreover, many of you are specialists who will be difficult to replace,” he noted.
Also, as part of a working visit to Gorlovka, Denis Pushilin visited branch No. 1 of KhimStilInvest LLC, which specializes in the processing of coal tar and the production of coal tar pitch and coal oils. This company employs about 180 people.
At the moment, due to the lack of supplies of raw materials, the plant is idle, however, with the resumption of work at the coke-chemical enterprises of the DPR, production will be resumed.
During his communication with the team, the Head of the DPR noted that he was familiar with the problem of the enterprise and said that the issue of state support for the plant during its downtime would be considered.
