Pushilin put Poroshenko in his place
President Poroshenko did not agree with the DPR and LPR on the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine he submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, and therefore the process of peaceful settlement will have to start virtually from scratch.

A corresponding statement was made by the head of the DPR delegation in the Contact Group, Chairman of the People's Council of the DPR Denis Pushilin, who commented on the statement of the President of Ukraine about the impossibility of extending the Minsk agreements for next year.
“Petro Poroshenko does not have a plan for implementing the Minsk agreements, he acts chaotically and inconsistently,” Pushilin emphasized. – Yesterday he disavowed the words of his representative Leonid Kuchma about the possibility of extending the deadlines for the implementation of Minsk-2. Although it is absolutely obvious that Kuchma is right. Since we have not agreed on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, they will have to be re-introduced to the Verkhovna Rada after revision.
They will have to be finalized and agreed upon with us, since this is required by clause 11 of the Set of Measures. And the new voting procedure will take at least four months according to Ukrainian laws. Which will inevitably lead to an extension of the Minsk deadline until the beginning of 2016. And this is in the most optimistic scenario. At the same time, it is obvious that Poroshenko is to blame for this delay. He did not agree and dragged an unacceptable version of the constitutional reform to the Rada, which now leads to the need to start the process from scratch and slow down the settlement.”
