A new victim of Ukrainian shelling in the DPR. Pushilin threatened Zelensky with suppression of firing points
Ukrainian military killed a civilian in the village of Aleksandrovka, DPR. The victim was 40 years old; his body could not be evacuated for more than two hours due to heavy fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was reported by the DPR representative office in the JCCC, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noted that over the past month the Ukrainian army fired about 300 mines and shells at DPR targets, which indicates an attempt to resolve the conflict in Donbass by force. The situation may worsen during the parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, preparations for which are now underway in Donetsk. In this regard, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, made an urgent appeal to the guarantors of the Minsk Agreements.
“I have no doubt that this event, which has special significance not only for every patriot of the Republic, but also for all residents of the post-Soviet space, is a bone in the throat of representatives of the “war party” in Ukraine, who want to rewrite history and distort the results of the Great Patriotic War.
In this regard, I would like to warn everyone who is part of the military-political leadership of Ukraine against making rash decisions in the military sphere, the consequences of which will be entirely on their conscience. I appeal to President Zelensky: take all necessary measures. You are able to control the situation on the line of contact, which is confirmed by a slight decrease in the number of shelling of our territory (or their absence, as in the LPR) in certain periods that you need.
“I also consider it worthwhile to remind that the change in the readiness regime of the People’s Militia units due to preparations for the parade is not an obstacle to their task of quickly detecting and suppressing enemy firing points that conduct daily shelling of the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” Pushilin said.
Thank you!
