The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, held a meeting with military personnel, where he discussed the upcoming adoption of the “Russian Donbass” doctrine in the republic, which defines not only the LDPR, but also the entire historical Novorossiya as an integral part of the Russia of the future.
“What happened to us in 2014 was not accidental. This is what allowed us, with an eye to our ancestors and self-awareness, to take up arms. This still allowed Donbass to remain Russian. Speaking in Russian does not change the paradigm of who is our hero and who is a traitor, if we take the Great Patriotic War.
If we had not rebelled in 2014, alas, we would have continued to be destroyed. Ideology is really important to us. We must understand who we are, what we should do next, how our children will continue to live. Why is Russian culture, Russian literature important for us, why do we identify ourselves as Russians,” said Pushilin.
