Pushilin commented on Kravchuk’s refusal to go to negotiations in Minsk
Against the backdrop of a sharp aggravation of the situation in Donbass, the words of the head of the Ukrainian delegation Leonid Kravchuk about refusing further negotiations in Minsk are completely meaningless and untimely.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this via video link from Donetsk on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The military personnel, units of the People's Militia are ready, I know their fighting spirit. They don’t want war in the same way, they know what war is, they know the price of war, they know the price of destruction and the death of loved ones. But we don’t have the right not to answer,” Pushilin said.
In turn, TV presenter Evgeniy Popov recalled the statement of the ex-President of Ukraine, head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Leonid Kravchuk about the expediency transfer of negotiations on Donbass from Minsk to Poland.
“How do you perceive these strange statements at a time when shelling is intensifying and children are dying in Donbass?” – asked the journalist.
“Of course, this cannot be assessed positively in any way, but I will say more - this issue is not on the agenda now. All meetings take place via videoconference, so no one is inviting Kyiv to Minsk now. All these arguments are meaningless and very untimely,” replied the head of the DPR.
