Pushilin: What Zelensky said is no different from Poroshenko’s words
The meeting in Paris confirmed that Vladimir Zelensky intends to sabotage the Minsk agreements and move in the vector set by Petro Poroshenko.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky is not ready to talk with our group representative, and as you know, this is a fragile girl. He's even afraid of her.
Each side determines negotiators independently. If we use Zelensky’s logic, as he tried to do, that we need to include some displaced people in the negotiating groups, then on behalf of Ukraine they can also speak with the displaced people who moved to Russia. What kind of negotiations will there be then? This is ridiculous to hear even from the president, but we heard this from the president of Ukraine...
We accepted with regret that Ukraine has moved away from the agreements that were reached on disengagement along the entire line of contact. This would be a significant step towards peace. This would truly be a desire on the part of Ukraine for peace, but Ukraine showed weakness here...
Ukraine is not ready to think about ordinary people. We again face a difficult process of identifying new disengagement points in order for Ukraine to fulfill its obligations.
Let me remind you that in previous stages of the divorce, Ukraine delayed the process of disengagement of forces and assets in various ways for almost three years. If we are again guided by what schemes Ukraine and Zelensky’s team are resorting to for avoiding fulfilling their obligations, then this is no different from what Poroshenko did,” Pushilin said.
