Pushilin: Ukraine is playing too hard. The boomerang of misinformation hit her hard
The fake flow of messages about Russia’s supposedly upcoming invasion of Ukraine is causing colossal damage to the country’s economy.
The head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, stated this in an interview with Izvestia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He believes that the evacuation of diplomats from Ukraine announced by a number of Western countries led by the United States fits into the scenario of a deliberate escalation of the conflict, which is being worked out by official Kiev and its so-called partners.
“According to these scenario conditions, it is imperative to increase the degree of tension. But Kyiv got so carried away that both Zelensky and the head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Alexei Danilov had to calm the population down. As a result, Danilov even admitted that there was no basis for allegations about the preparation of a full-scale attack on Ukraine. This is a forced recognition, and we understand the purpose for which it was made - it is becoming increasingly difficult for Kyiv to maintain the situation inside Ukraine,” says Pushilin.
He was also asked why Ukraine calls on the West to leave diplomats in Kyiv.
“Because a fake stream of statements about an alleged Russian invasion caused panic among the population of Ukraine and damaged its economy. The evacuation of diplomats further aggravated these processes. The boomerang of disinformation hits Ukraine itself painfully,” the head of the DPR concluded.
