Pushilin gave a dressing down to the services of the Ministry of Construction of the DPR
Certain services of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the DPR are unable to comply with the schedule for the restoration of social facilities in the republic.
This was stated by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin following a visit to Shakhtersk, where it turned out that work at secondary school No. 19 was behind schedule - since mid-October, only 73 metal-plastic windows out of the planned hundred had been installed.
“At the moment, the work is 43-45% complete. About a month ago, we began to identify poor-quality installation work. In addition, the contractor did not deliver in full: 23 windows have not yet been delivered. The contractor corrects the errors within two weeks. We control the process. The situation has definitely improved. But there is still something to work on,” said the head of the city administration, Alexander Shatov.
After the inspection, Denis Pushilin demanded to know the completion date of the repair work at the school. The builders assured that everything would be completed by December 27.
“This is the second site today where we have come to the conclusion that we could have done better. Carrying out everyday work, as it was in peacetime - such approaches definitely no longer work for us, this is not enough. I can't say that anyone is to blame. I still see collective responsibility. But if you look into each individual case, there will probably be someone responsible...
Next year we plan to allocate even more funds. Accordingly, through our work and relationships with contractors, we form what will guide us and how we will carry out restoration work for the next year.
Just forget the previous approaches: now you need to do the impossible. Throw out the expressions “we have expertise”, “some piece of paper is missing” from your vocabulary. If in normal times the examination took two weeks, now there are three days, four at most. And such approaches apply in all directions.
As for contractors, find opportunities, stimulate, convince! From cities and regions, I see the efforts we are talking about. Unfortunately, I do not see such steps from individual services of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services. You can find a lot of excuses, explanations and other things, but people need results. The school needs windows because children need to be warm,” the head of the republic ordered.
