Pushilin presented honorable mention diplomas of the DPR and the Russian Federation to the best graduates of Donetsk universities
Donbass, as a melting pot of nations, people of labor and military feats, has always been and remains a key link that determines the original face of the Orthodox Slavic civilization.
These words were spoken during the ceremony of presenting honors diplomas of the Russian Federation and the DPR, held on July 2 in Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The event took place at the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. B. Solovyanenko. In addition to the head of the DPR, members of the government, heads and teachers of universities, as well as parents of graduates, the ceremony was attended by Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science Gennady Onishchenko.
Addressing those gathered, the head of the republic Denis Pushilin noted that today the best of the best gathered in the hall of the academic theater.
“Education in the republic’s universities meets the high educational standards of the Russian Federation, which confirms the quality mark of your diplomas. Your success was largely made possible thanks to assistance from Russia, which provides many platforms for the development of our students.
Training seminars and practical classes, scientific and practical conferences, competitions, internships - for all this, which helped hone your professional skills, we are grateful to the Russian Federation,” Pushilin emphasized and thanked the rectors, teaching staff of universities, as well as parents for the worthy preparing students for working life.
The head of the DPR presented the ten best graduates with honors diplomas of the Russian Federation. Gennady Onishchenko was also awarded the medal “Golden Star of the Hero of Labor of the Donetsk People’s Republic”.
“Today Russia helped you obtain diplomas from the Russian Federation. I want to continue. Now Russia is waiting for help from you,” said the Russian parliamentarian. – Donbass has always been in both the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire, and now remains a key link that determines the original face of the Orthodox Slavic civilization.
Donbass is a melting pot of nations, people of labor, and feats of arms. And everything connected with Donbass always deserves the highest rating.”
The ceremony was accompanied by a concert program prepared by university students. There were also musical gifts performed by soloists of the Honored State Academic Song and Dance Ensemble “Donbass” and the Donetsk State Academic Philharmonic.
