The Ukrainian Armed Forces must voluntarily move away from the contact line and withdraw equipment.
DPR leader Denis Pushili stated this on the Vesti FM radio station, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now the question is what to do with the accumulation of equipment, personnel, and weapons that exist on the other side of the contact line. They must voluntarily leave and remove their weapons. This is the best option,” said Pushilin.
However, even in this scenario, Ukraine will continue to pose a danger to the EU countries, he believes.
“But the problem is deeper and more serious, and it is no longer just our problem. Okay, moving from here. Where? To the territory of Ukraine? Exactly? Or maybe some part will move to Europe, and rabid nationalists may commit terrorist attacks, robberies and all sorts of crimes there.
Will someone guarantee that this will not happen? Surely not. Therefore, condemnation of Russia in connection with our recognition does not look entirely sensible, given what Russia is now trying to prevent,” Pushilin concluded.
