Pushilin made an explanation regarding the liberation of the Nazis “Azov”
Of the Azov captives transferred in exchange, not a single officer, but 37 people were so injured that these people will absolutely not return to duty.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It was very important for us to return our Russian soldiers, our military personnel. It's really a great success that they are at home now. Because the vast majority of them were subjected to torture, the conditions were beyond the normal treatment of prisoners, and therefore they required urgent medical care, we made joint efforts to ensure that this exchange took place.
Among those guys who are already at home and receiving medical care, 47 are citizens from the DPR, mostly mobilized. This is one of those cases when teachers near Gorlovka were captured, and a number of other cases. Almost all of them are mobilized, literally a few of them are our contract soldiers.
The remaining guys are Russian military personnel, including honored ones, including pilots, and individual guys who performed special tasks.
The pilots demanded a speedy return, because they were subjected to special abuse and torture. Ukrainian criminals have a special hatred for pilots,” Pushilin said.
He noted that the release of the crippled Azov soldiers does not abolish tribunals for war criminals.
“These are privates of nationalist battalions, “Azovites” and not only, there were also “Aidarovites” there. These are the people for whom, according to some personal data, there were no crimes.
The second criterion is those people who will not be able to accurately get into formation, these are essentially cripples, that is, who received injuries and injuries as a result of hostilities, there are about 37 of them.
In no case is the tribunal cancelled, plans remain unchanged. The number of ordinary “Azovites” who are injured and will not return to duty, that is, cannot in any way influence the plans that we set, we do not deviate from these plans,” the head of the DPR assured.
