Pushilin announced a serious threat and gave an urgent order
Corruption has not been eradicated and remains a serious threat that can destroy the state, as is known from the example of Ukraine from recent history.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced this at a meeting with activists of the Donetsk Republic Social Movement on the occasion of the organization’s fifth anniversary.
“We thought: corruption would be easy to overcome. There was no corruption at all in 2014; unfortunately, we could not maintain this state. There are a number of reasons for this. Unfortunately, we failed to cope with this task. But corruption destroys any state, evidence of this is the neighboring state of Ukraine,” Pushilin noted.
He stated the importance of the work of members of the social movement, since the task of the organization remains the same - all processes of construction and development of the DPR should be controlled by the people.
At the meeting, in particular, issues related to improving the work of border and customs control points and reducing their passage time were voiced.
In addition, the question was raised about organizing the work of the Migration Service branches in small towns of the DPR, in particular in Mospino, Denis Pushilin gave instructions to consider solutions to this issue promptly.
“It is difficult for residents of small settlements to travel to another city or region to obtain documents. It will be cheaper and easier to do this at home,” Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the “Donetsk Republic,” explained to PolitNavigator.
