Pushilin: Zelensky is lying on the eve of a meeting with Macron
There is no trace of calm in the Donbass - Ukraine has not abandoned shelling of populated areas, as a result of which civilians are killed, and the Minsk Agreements have been turned upside down. The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this on the Rossiya 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Pushilin, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who said on the eve of a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron that everything is calm in Donbass, is blatantly lying. According to Pushilin, it is time for European leaders to move on to fulfilling their obligations.
“Calm is not even close. There is a lot of not only information, but even evidence that people are dying. Yesterday, the last person killed, a man, died at home after mortar shelling.
Let me remind you that this is the third death since the beginning of April. There was a pensioner, there was a child. Therefore, unfortunately, I do not expect anything good from these negotiations. There will be routine statements again.
I don’t see what they could do to bring peace closer. Although they must do this, because both Germany and France are guarantor countries of the implementation of the Minsk agreements. But we see the picture turned upside down,” said Pushilin.
Thank you!
