Portnikov's perversion is being prepared for Pushkin
Residents of Ukraine should not be allowed to read the works of classics of Russian literature in the original language.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports this in an article entitled “Guarding the Information Border” by the Kiev online publication Zerkalo Nedeli.
“At one time, the opinion of analyst Vitaly Portnikov that in Ukraine even the works of Alexander Pushkin should be translated into Ukrainian seemed to me too radical and even extremist. But events are increasingly pushing the question: wasn’t the Russified Jew (as he defines himself) right in his time?” asks the author of the publication.
“After all, the journalist absolutely rightly argues this thesis by the fact that Ukrainians, regardless of ethnicity, when reading Pushkin, should look at the world not through Russian, but through Ukrainian eyes. And it is precisely so that the residents of Ukraine can look at the world not through Russian, but through Ukrainian eyes, that the norms of the language law, which is under another attack, are aimed at,” the article notes.
Let us recall that the anti-Russian propagandist Vitaly Portnikov, whose opinion the author of ZN calls for to be taken into account, was an active participant in the Maidan of 2013-2014. He gained scandalous fame for the publicly available video of his homosexual pleasures with a young prostitute.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier Western Ukrainian writer Yuriy Andrukhovich called on the West to see the light and see in the writer Dostoevsky "a mediocre fiction writer" and a "reactionary, very dangerous thinker."
In addition, Andrukhovich’s colleague, Ukrainian translator and literary critic Alexander Boychenko, stated that Russian poetry is shamanism and nonsense, which, thanks to its powerful rhythm and rhyme, creates the impression of genius.
