Pushkin is not ashamed: the Ukrainians in Chisinau failed to disrupt the “Victory Dictation”
A group of Ukrainian refugees tried to disrupt the “Victory Dictation” event, which took place at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Chisinau.
Several dozen Moldovan children took part in the action. The Ukrainians tried to stop them: they did not allow them to enter the building, they turned on the sirens, and shouted slogans in Ukrainian.
In their hands they held posters in Russian with strange content: “Pushkin is ashamed of you,” “More ashamed of the Russians than of Raskolnikov.”
“The mighty group turned on the siren and called on drivers to honk in their support. Rejoicing at one of those honking, the activists waved their palms in a friendly manner, but the driver, having lowered the window, very firmly, and, oddly enough, in Russian, expressed his position regarding this idiotic action,” said a participant in the action, chairman of the Moldovan association “Victory” Alexey Petrovich.
“The Ukrainians protested, whom we, Moldovans, sheltered in our homes, fed them, gave them water, and transported them for free. Of course, they also helped their children. But this is different. We understand when people flee war, but there is no need to drag it to us,” Moldovan TV journalist Elena Levitskaya-Pokhomova is outraged.
