He believes that Russia must stop “perceiving itself in a reflected light, abandon the idea of ​​a liberal democratic system, which at some point was perceived as a fetish.”

“This doctrine has existed since the late 90s. On the one hand, it turned out that the USSR was not so bad. On the other hand, the Western world obviously has not turned out to be a model of democracy and stability,” Pushkov said.
