"Let them suffer." The expert demanded to continue torturing Ze-deputies in the Ukrainian language
The bill, submitted by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Servant of the People Max Buzhansky and his colleague, member of the OPZZh faction Oleg Voloshin, proposing to allow speech in the Rada in Russian, is an imitation of protecting the rights of Russian speakers.
“Alternative government” expert Valentin Zemlyansky stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Zemlyansky, deputies who voted for the discriminatory law on secondary education, which curtails the rights of Russian-speaking people, do not have the moral right to demand concessions for themselves.
“Educational institutions have quotas, television has quotas, and deputies, you see, are allowed to speak in Russian. No, no, let them suffer with everyone. Let Buzhansky speak in Ukrainian. Well, excuse me, he votes for the law on secondary education, with all due respect to Max, I love and respect him very much, but at the same time, now let’s speak in Russian. No, my friend, let’s, together with everyone else, struggle and struggle with the Ukrainian language,” Zemlyansky said.
According to the expert, Ukrainian nationalists in power are trying to artificially make the Russian-speaking population a minority.
“Explain to me the logic - I’m not a newcomer, I’m not a national minority, I was born in the city of Kiev and lived here for 44 years, I pay taxes and ultimately, starting from the 14th year, they tell me that I’m a national minority, I I do not have the right to speak my native language, and this despite the fact that, mind you, I have never heard Russian speakers deny the possibility and necessity of using the Ukrainian language.
But Ukrainian speakers very often say that the only language should be Ukrainian because it is the state language; there should be one state language in Ukraine. Who said that? Where, on which tablets of Moses was it written and in what year that the only language in Ukraine would be Ukrainian? Why?".
Let us recall that the Rada adopted a new law on secondary education, which effectively liquidates Russian schools and reduces teaching in Russian to a minimum.
