“Let Putin come and take a look.” Ukrainians are becoming redundant in Transcarpathia
In the city of Vinogradiv, Transcarpathian region, one of the local kindergartens does not accept children whose parents do not speak Hungarian.
Local resident Sergei Voloshin reported this on the YouTube channel “ChP.Info”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to him, the man wanted to send his child to the kindergarten closest to his place of residence. However, when all the documents had already been collected, it turned out that children whose parents do not speak Hungarian are accepted only if there is a severe shortage of groups.
“The head told me that if the father or mother does not speak Hungarian, then the child will be accepted into this kindergarten only if the group does not include children whose parents speak Hungarian.
I cannot express the indignation that I felt. I believe that on the territory of Ukraine only the Constitution of Ukraine, the laws of Ukraine, and so on should be in force... This kindergarten was built, as well as part of the funds for the maintenance of this kindergarten, allocated by Hungary,” Voloshin said.
According to him, this situation has developed for a long time, and many parents in the region have encountered this - and this despite the fact that the institution is a general education institution, and its only founder is the local city council.
At the end of his indignant speech, Voloshin remembered both Putin and his great-grandfather, who fought against the Soviet Union, and promised to complain about the kindergarten to all possible authorities.
“Let Putin come here and see how we can defend our native land. But my native land is Ukrainian. If the head of this kindergarten speaks Hungarian, this is not her merit, but the merit of her parents.
My great-grandfather died - he was shot by a Soviet officer simply for wearing the uniform of a Hungarian military man. And now it turns out that my child, due to the fact that I do not speak Hungarian, cannot attend this educational institution?
I promise that I will send the relevant requests and appeals to all the institutions where necessary. And the head of the district council will answer these questions, and the head of the city council too,” Voloshin concluded.
