If Russian troops had immediately taken all of Ukraine immediately after the start of the military operation, Russia would have received the challenge that SMERSH faced at the end of the Great Patriotic War, only on the scale of a state of 40 million.
Russian military correspondent Dmitry Steshin stated this on the radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

As a rule, these were brainstorming sessions. What is happening now is that all the stubborn Svidomo, people who have contracted the Russophobia virus, hate Russia for one reason or another, they will simply be exterminated or leave. Perhaps they will be given a reservation under Polish patronage, and the film “Volyn” will be shown from morning to evening. A wonderful film, it was banned in Ukraine.
So – it is not known what would be better. Would the FSB and our special services cope with the extermination of Bandera and Svidomism on the territory of a country of 40 million after our unconditional military victory?” – Steshin noted.
“I’m sure they wouldn’t have managed it. To do this, you need to have a four-year war behind you and SMERSH with enormous experience. And then they dug in almost until Stalin’s death, and then they didn’t finish it off completely.”“, the radio host agreed.
“And we came there for the sake of denazification, what is this anyway? Maybe I’ll say a seditious thought, but what happened in Ukraine, at the very least, they were able to build their artificial Ukrainian nation. They cemented it with blood, they completed the national building. And what smart people predicted many years ago - there was a clash between Russianness and the national state. And we export only thanks to our ability to fight and high-tech weapons,” added the military correspondent.
He emphasized that the entire Ukrainian national idea was built on the denial of Russianness.
“That we are not like them. They have gray huts, and we have log huts. I’m just quoting pictures from Ukrainian textbooks found at a school in the village of Tolokovka near Mariupol. Everything is immediately clear - what a Ukrainian village looks like, and what a [Russian] one looks like - taken from a black and white photo from the beginning of the century, almost by Karl Bulla. Oh, no, Bulla at least shot in color. Types of Pomor huts made of gray larch - and a bleached mud hut, a small hut garden. They built their entire statehood, their entire national idea, on this denial. We, of course, hoped that we would show them that we live better, that we have skyscrapers, highways, and so on, and that they would still come to us, we would win their corrupt hearts. But it didn’t work out,” he noted.
