If the government that came in the wake of the Maidan failed to improve the well-being of citizens in three years, then they will continue to be disappointed in the Maidan.

Ukrainian political scientist Alexey Yakubin stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, commenting on the latest sociology, which recorded a decrease in support for the so-called “Maidan values” in Ukrainian society.
“An increasing number of citizens are becoming significantly disillusioned with those events, and they are even talking about it. Accordingly, such a revaluation occurs. I think this is largely due to the fact that citizens assess how these events affected their personal well-being. And how much government officials didn't tellthat Maidan was about values, but one way or another, most citizens understood these values as improving their standard of living. If this does not happen, then we see a change in the assessment,” the political scientist said.
Recall that latest opinion polls records that in Ukraine the number of people who consider the Maidan an “illegal armed coup” is increasing, and the number of those who call those events a “people’s revolution” is decreasing.
