"There's no turning back!" – Zelensky played with being a technical candidate
Ukrainian presidential candidate, comedian Vladimir Zelensky, putting forward as a technical figure, unexpectedly received such a rating that he can only go to the end.
Alexander Sherin, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the LDPR, stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky’s show, which is his main source of income, does not allow him to take any steps to withdraw his candidacy, because many will immediately understand that he wanted to be a technical candidate - and then suddenly he came out on top and ceases to be the president of Ukraine. Accordingly, they will begin to turn away from him, and everyone will stop coming to his concerts. Therefore, his task is such that he only needs to go to the end.
If he goes into the second round with someone, then those who were previously on the Maidan will have a higher anti-rating. This is due to the fact that the people of Ukraine are already tired of politicking, and Zelensky is a positive character and actor,” Sherin emphasized.
