Moscow - Kyiv, April 17 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Starting next month, Russia will introduce prepayment for gas for Ukraine, which since the beginning of spring has not been able to pay for supplies of Russian “blue fuel”, despite previously provided discounts.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this.

“If there are no payments for the next month, then we will switch to prepayment... We will supply them exactly as much money as they pay us,” he said.
According to Putin, such a situation “could lead to disruptions in gas supplies to our European consumers.”
“We will wait another month. We can do this today. But we’ll wait another month,” the Russian president noted.
