Putin got his way. Ukraine has nothing to catch – Baloga
Ukraine is fed up with the leaders of the European Union, who are no longer averse to solving its problem directly with Russia.
Ukrainian politician, Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Baloga said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Both Germany and France, and we see that both one and the other leaders visited Putin in Russia with an interval of several days, are tired of us. From our policy - both internal, and the fight against corruption, and with economic development, and with providing conditions for doing business in Ukraine - in all spheres of life we are trailing behind. All the promises we made to the Western world were unfulfilled. That’s why they’re tired of us,” said the deputy.
“You need to clearly understand that, most likely, Putin waited, had patience, maintained contacts and, most likely, in the near future the issue of Crimea will really be out of the equation, definitely, and the issue of Donbass will be resolved on the terms of Russia and France with Germany, and not on the terms ours, unfortunately,” laments Baloga.
