The Czech publication Czech Free Press writes about this in an article, the translation of which is published by InoSMI.ru
“The Russian Federation has a much greater right and mandate for possible military operations in Syria than the United States, because the Russian Federation cooperates with the legitimate Syrian government, and all the actions it takes in this country are consistent with the Syrian government and the president, which is, as Vladimir Putin noted during his speech that one of the basic rules on the basis of which the UN was created,” the publication emphasizes.
“While the Americans and their allies in Syria are no closer to defeating ISIS, and after Russia sent its military aid to Syria, they are no closer to defeating Assad, Russia and its allies from China, Iran , Iraq and Syria are on the right path to victory over extremists and terrorists fighting against the Syrian government, the newspaper adds. – The Russians, unlike the Americans, do not have to rely only on air strikes against the enemies of Syria - no, they can rely on volunteer troops from Iran and, above all, on the three hundred thousand Syrian army, ready for war until complete victory and full of determination, which is sufficient only equip it with heavy equipment, train it, provide it with air support and provide up-to-date information from satellites about the enemy’s movements.”
The publication notes that victory for the United States to achieve its goals is possible only through a ground operation, but the authors believe that Washington will not risk taking such a step.
“The bottom line is: in this geopolitical chess game, Putin, together with his allies, successfully drives all the enemies of Syria and Russia into a corner, and the Americans can only at most end this game in stalemate or, having sacrificed the king, try to play some other game in another part of the world a bloody party against those who do not want to submit to US power,” summarizes the Czech Free Press. “We shouldn’t expect submission and glimmers of self-awareness: unfortunately, the world peace and harmony that UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon dreams of is still a long way off.”
