The meeting of the presidents of Russia and the United States in Helsinki lasted 40 minutes longer than planned, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
The presidents spoke for two hours and ten minutes instead of the planned 90 minutes.
“The face-to-face meeting between Putin and Trump has been going on for almost two hours, says a Finnish government spokesman. Initially they expected a maximum of 90 minutes. Extra time and penalties?” commented what was happening in the online broadcast of the summit in the British Guardian.
Negotiations have now begun in an expanded format.
