Putin and Zelensky will not compromise - Gordon
The next Normandy format meeting, due to take place in the spring of next year, may not happen.
The famous Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon stated this on air on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we talk about the meeting in the Normandy format, which seems to be planned in four months, I will allow you to express doubts that it will take place. Because Merkel and Macron understand that these meetings are futile, that neither Putin nor Zelensky will step back behind their flags, each of which they have clearly outlined for themselves.
Compromise, today, is the main conclusion that I made after communicating with a number of members of delegations from different countries; compromise is impossible today. And it’s not worth waiting for it in four months either. We got a “gray zone”, Donbass, we will live with it,” Gordon said.
