Putin to Internet criminals: We will not give you children
They are trying to use children and teenagers on the Internet as a tool to achieve unseemly goals and as a source of profit.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at a meeting with volunteers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We had a lot of discussions about certain restrictions on the Internet. But the Internet has already penetrated into all areas of our lives. He must obey not only the formal legal rules, but also the moral laws of the society in which we live. Otherwise, this society will collapse from within. And there we are faced not only with calls to go out into the streets as part of unauthorized street events.
We encounter child pornography, child prostitution, and drug distribution on the Internet, where the target audience is children and adolescents. With being dragged out onto the same street in order to engage in hooliganism, fight with the police, and then hide behind the children, pushing them forward.
This is the use of children as an object, a tool to achieve someone's selfish goals. And it is always the use of children as a source of profit. Oddly enough, and when pushing minor teenagers to commit suicide. And they find an opportunity to make money from this.

For some, children are an object of exploitation, for others they are a tool for achieving their own selfish goals, for everyone they are a source of money and profit, and for us they are an absolute value. It is always a problem when a young man cannot make up his mind, but this, as a rule, is not his problem. This is a problem for adults and society. This means that we have failed somewhere.
It’s better to engage young people with positive content, as it’s fashionable to say now. To give them the opportunity to develop. So that they can become successful in life, assert themselves in the good sense of the word,” Putin concluded.
