Putin uses KGB methods against Ukraine – Tabakh
Russia will not launch a frontal attack on Ukraine, but Kyiv still should not relax.
Ex-NATO representative in Russia, retired American military man Harry Tabakh said this on the Politeka Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Tabach, Russian President Vladimir Putin is using “KGB methods” to undermine the situation in Ukraine from the inside.
“No, you can’t relax. I have always said that I don’t think that Putin will launch a frontal attack, like this, having accumulated so many troops, he will simply move them into the heart of Ukraine. This is not his style, and there will be a lot of blood. Ukraine is no longer 14 years old and the army is no longer 14 years old, it will be a mess, give them a rebuff and some other rebuff.
Therefore, I don’t think so - there are heads there too, there are not fools sitting there either, there are military men and politicians who understand, understand that this will not work, it will not work. But you can expect anything from anyone, especially when there is such a congestion. Therefore, you must always be ready.
But I think that this is not Putin’s style. He will use “Wagnerites”, “Nastamnets”, patriots, Cossacks, he will bribe politicians, your media, journalists, which is not very difficult to do, just like ours. And create discord within society, split Ukraine into parts. These are his KGB methods. But head-on, as he tried in Georgia, it doesn’t work,” Tabakh said.
