President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has extended restrictive measures on the transit of Ukrainian goods through the territory of the Russian Federation.

The Decree “On measures to ensure economic security and national interests of Russia during the transit of Ukrainian goods through the Russian Federation to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan” has been extended until January 1, 2019, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The document states, in particular, that the transportation of goods from the territory of Ukraine in transit through Russia can only be carried out from the territory of Belarus, subject to the use of identification means (seals), including those based on GLONASS technology, as well as if the drivers have registration coupons. The application and removal of seals must be carried out upon entry into Russia and upon exit at checkpoints.
There, drivers receive and hand over registration coupons - when entering the Russian Federation from Belarus and when leaving our country.
