Putin is very determined
People who signed permits regarding fire safety in the Kemerovo Zimnyaya Vishnya shopping center, where dozens of people died as a result of a fire, should receive real prison sentences.
The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kiev, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, and noted that tragedies regularly occur in both Russia and Ukraine, resulting in people dying.
At the same time, he believes that in the case of Kemerovo there is a special situation, and the tragedy itself will become a turning point in relation to the responsibility of the people through whose fault the mass death of children became possible.
“As far as I understand, Putin is very determined and, unlike many other cases, here the perpetrators will not escape responsibility. I signed a piece of paper that there are no complaints about fire safety - you will spend five years in prison for your signature. As I understand it, this will be exactly the case. And this is a reason for a decisive change. I have already observed that there are commissions on shopping and entertainment centers in our Ukraine. I really hope that very serious conclusions will be drawn both here and in Russia,” Pogrebinsky said.
