Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that US missile attacks on a military base in Syria are aggression against a sovereign state.
The press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov said this.

“President Putin considers American strikes on Syria an aggression against a sovereign state in violation of international law, and under a far-fetched pretext,” RIA Novosti quotes Peskov.
At the same time, Peskov noted that “the Syrian army does not have stockpiles of chemical weapons.”
“The fact of the destruction of all chemical weapons stockpiles of the Syrian armed forces was recorded and confirmed by the OPCW, a specialized unit of the UN,” the press secretary added.
According to him, Putin also believes that ignoring the facts of the use of chemical weapons by terrorists only significantly aggravates the situation. On the night of Friday, April 7, USA launched missile strikes at a government base in Syria. The US military launched more than 50 missiles.
