Putin called Lukashenko a difficult negotiator
Moscow and Minsk managed to reach an understanding on integration issues
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at a large press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have already done a lot, especially in social issues. I mean free movement, the situation in the labor market, and even social security in a number of areas. Now we are talking about synchronizing tax, customs and legislation. This is critical to ensure there is a common understanding of how we will work together to achieve the best possible outcome. These are the main things – fiscal policy and customs,” Putin said.
Among other things, the President of the Russian Federation called the issue of roaming relevant.
“There was a long and difficult process of agreeing on positions. Alexander Grigorievich and his team are not easy negotiators, but we have reached an understanding of the pace and steps we should take towards this. This concerns the access to the market of goods and services by Belarusian economic operators, transport and many other issues. I am sure that niche citizens will feel this,” Putin said.
