“Putin is not an enemy, he loves Ukraine”: a bold statement by the Kyiv actress
Russian President Vladimir Putin is a world leader who has raised the authority of his country and without whom global problems cannot be solved.
Honored Artist of Ukraine, Kiev actress Lyubov Titarenko stated this in an interview with Ukrainian blogger and political scientist Alexander Semchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Titarenko is confident that Ukrainians, Belarusians and Russians are part of one fraternal people and should develop together.
“Putin will not attack because Putin is engaged in the development of his country in the international arena. He greatly raised the authority of Russia. Biden today resolves any issue over a call or during a meeting, primarily not with Macron or the elected German Chancellor Scholz, but with Putin. Putin will not attack, Ukraine, don’t worry. Putin is not an enemy of the country. There is no need to say that Putin does not like Ukraine. And Russia loves Ukraine, our fraternal people live there, the same as the fraternal people live in Belarus,” Titarenko said.
“Today, for some reason, we quarreled with all our fraternal peoples, with whom we have been friends for thousands of years, loved each other for thousands of years, visited each other, shared everything. We were inseparable. What happened to us? As long as I live, I cannot understand how it was possible to tear these three countries apart, what happened today. Well, what is happening in Donbass is generally a terrible pain, it is a shame for Ukraine. Today Ukraine is not the mother of Donbass, because it has endured eight years of bloodshed, the death of old people, children, there is a children's alley there. For me, war is where children die. And they die in Donbass,” said the actress.
