Putin explained what the government will do with Western firms fleeing the Russian Federation
The enterprises of firms that left Russia should be transferred to Russian owners.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at a meeting with the government, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are not going to close ourselves off from anyone. We are open to working with all our foreign partners who want it themselves. In this regard, the rights of those of our colleagues who remain in Russia must be reliably protected.
Those who are planning to close their production must act decisively and in no case allow damage to local Russian suppliers of components and materials. It is necessary to introduce external management and transfer these enterprises to those who want to work. There are enough legal market instruments. There is no need to allow any arbitrariness. We will find a legal solution to these issues,” Putin said.
