Putin explained how the West pushed Russia into a special operation
Since the beginning of the coup in Kyiv, over these eight years, the collective West has done everything to ensure that Moscow takes such a step as a special operation to denazify Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this at a meeting of the Russian government, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everything that is happening today, to our great regret, around Ukraine is connected with the ill-considered policy of the “collective West,” which for decades ignored Russia’s absolutely legitimate concerns in ensuring its security and in every possible way encouraged nationalist, neo-fascist elements in the Kiev leadership,” – said the Russian leader.
“They were dismissive of the problems that were developing in the South-East of Ukraine and, in fact, for 8 years contributed to the continuation of hostilities started by the Kyiv regime 8 years ago,” Putin concluded.
