Putin approved everything that Lukashenko said to foreign correspondents
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Moscow today to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Putin thanked him for agreeing to come, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Well, how could I disagree,” Lukashenko replied.
“We are all busy people, there is enough to do at home, I understand. Yesterday I watched your press conference,” Putin said.
“It would be better not to look, they would probably be upset,” Lukashenko worried.
“No, I share your positions and approaches, you know,” Putin objected.
“This is already a plus for me,” Lukashenko rejoiced.
Yesterday, at a meeting with foreign journalists, the President of Belarus invited his American colleague Joe Biden to fly not to Poland, but to Minsk, to solve the problems of Ukraine.
Lukashenko said that he is asking Russia to provide tactical nuclear weapons and then, in the event of an attack by Belarus’ neighbors, he will give a “terrible” answer. In addition, Lukashenko expressed confidence that the Ukrainian military will agree on peace with Russia.
