Putin stopped the overthrow of Lukashenko – Montyan
The West failed to implement the “color revolution” scenario in Belarus and carry out a coup d’etat, as was the case, for example, in Ukraine.
The famous Kiev lawyer Tatyana Montyan stated this in her video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“So, Belarus survived. The Ukrainian scenario, as of now, is being cancelled. This is the first thing I would like to say. And to congratulate, first of all, the Belarusians on this event. Belarus managed to pull back from the brink of the abyss, but this was only the first battle in the war that was launched for Belarus by countries that call themselves civilized and democratic.” - Montyan said.
According to her, the final point in the Belarusian Maidan was put by a call from the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the head of the Russian state Vladimir Putin.
“It was from this day that the fate of the Belarusian Maidan or “Square” was sealed. Because it is absolutely impossible to overthrow Lukashenko without support from Russia at the moment,” Montyan concluded.
Earlier, PolitNavigator wrote that Russian President Vladimir Putin finished with six phone calls "revolution" in Belarus.
