Putin announced plans to make Russia a home for Ukrainians
Russia will not respond to the actions of Ukraine, where on March 18 the rights of citizens of the Russian Federation were limited, who were not allowed to vote on the territory of Russian diplomatic departments on the territory of Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said this, answering a corresponding question from journalists, the EADaily news agency reports.
“And Russia will not respond in any way. For us, Ukraine and the Ukrainian people are a fraternal people. I've always talked about this. And we will not respond with any restrictions, but, on the contrary, we will do everything to make Ukrainians feel at home in Russia,” Putin said.
At the same time, he called the incident a disgrace and a violation of all generally recognized international norms.
