Putin is reflashing the Ukrainian national code – Yatsenyuk
There are a lot of “propagandists, spies and false prophets” in Ukraine, and the desire of Ukrainians to join the EU and NATO, which soared under Poroshenko, is now barely staying afloat.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk spoke about this during the conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You should never stop, but you should always know where to go. There is no other way but to go to European civilization. But look at what has happened in recent months, first of all, in the public consciousness, how they began to reflash our national code, and - how they began to do this.
Putin owns half of the country's media news channels. The country is full of propagandists, traitors and false prophets who fool the people every day, who broadcast every day, who receive money every day from our enemy, which is the Russian Federation, essentially creating a fifth column inside Ukraine,” Yatsenyuk scares.
“Another narrative is the rise of anti-Western sentiment. Look at sociology. If the growth rate of support for the EU and NATO was flying like this (points to the ceiling - ed.), then today, at best, they are kept at the same level.
And this whole Russian propaganda machine actually destroys the desire of Ukrainians to join NATO and the EU - through constant, daily massive Goebbelsian lies and propaganda,” the ex-prime minister laments.
