The corresponding document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
On November 21, this law was adopted by the State Duma. Initially, the SEZ is created for a period of 25 years, which can subsequently be extended. FEZ investors will be exempt from a number of taxes for up to 10 years (depending on tax categories), and administrative barriers will also be reduced for them, writes RBC.
“In the sea harbors of Crimea, free flag and so-called port of convenience regimes can be introduced, which will significantly simplify customs procedures. We expect that this will stimulate business activity on the peninsula, ensure an influx of investment in industry, transport, infrastructure, logistics, tourism, health resorts and, of course, agriculture,” Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev previously said.
