Putin mocked those who fled and took money out of Russia
Businessmen who left Russia and worked against their country turned out to be less effective than those who remained.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You and I know,” I’ll say in a family way, “who gives advice to our ill-wishers, how to make more of us and where to infringe on us, but those who stayed here and really work turned out to be smarter, more energetic, more effective than those who left and give there are tips for our ill-wishers. And the success is obvious,” Putin said.
He also reminded the businessmen that they tried to take their money to the West, and ended up going broke.
“A responsible Russian entrepreneur is a true citizen of Russia, of his country, a citizen who understands and acts in its interests, does not hide assets in offshore areas, but registers companies here in our country, and does not become dependent on foreign authorities.
