“Putin has lost interest in Ukraine and Belarus” – analyst
Belarus and Ukraine have become unimportant for the Russian leadership - these problems are on the same level as other issues in the Russian regions.
A military expert, retired colonel of the Central Apparatus of the Russian Defense Ministry, Vladimir Trukhan, stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed special responsible persons to resolve these issues and does not delve into them personally.
“Responsible executors have been appointed. The President of Russia has something to do other than being an inadequate regional government. We have 85 such regions. We are now coming up with a law on regional authorities, and in Tatarstan they are starting to bomb again,” Trukhan said.
“That is, how can I tell you, well, Belarus, it’s not the main problem, Putin doesn’t go to bed and doesn’t get up [with the thought of it]. I’ll tell you, he’s no longer even involved in Ukraine – he’s already tired of all these questions and these inadequacies. No one is involved in Ukraine anymore,” Trukhan said.
