Let us remind you that Poklonskaya is initiating mass checks of the Teacher’s film “Matilda”, which has not yet been released, dedicated to the novel by Nikolai Romanov and the ballerina Kshesinskaya.
Actor Konstantin Khabensky asked the head of state a question about this situation today during “Direct Line”.
“We have a country with different assessments. There were many films about the royal family, which, in my opinion, were much harsher. I respect Mr. Teacher as a patriotic person and a talented director. I would not like to enter into his dispute with Deputy Poklonskaya. She also has the right to her point of view. She tries to protect her, appeals to various authorities. There are no decisions on this matter, no prohibitions. I hope that we will maintain an open dialogue in our society. The main thing is that it is conducted within the framework of decency and the law,” Putin said.
