Putin proposed imprisoning an American journalist for an interview with him
Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that “inventive people” in the United States artificially created a sensation from his alleged contacts with Donald Trump’s security adviser Michael Flynn.

Putin stated this in an interview with NBC, the text of which was published on the Kremlin’s official website.
“I have a much closer relationship with you personally than with Mr. Flynn. We met yesterday evening, we worked together all day today, and now we are meeting again. I barely even talked to Flynn. I just said hello to him, sat down next to him, then said goodbye, got up and left. My entire acquaintance with Mr. Flynn. Now, if Flynn and I had such contact, and with you all day, Flynn was fired from his job, and you just need to be arrested and put in prison,” Putin told journalist Megyn Kelly.
He drew her attention to the fact that during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum he communicated with many American businessmen.
“Should they all be arrested for this later, or what? Have you gone crazy? What about economic freedom? What about human rights? What do you think, are we now collecting compromising material on each of them? “Are you all out of your mind or not?” Putin said.
