Russian President Vladimir Putin will turn the Black Sea into a Russian lake, organize a naval blockade of Constanta and the mouth of the Danube, and open a corridor to the Balkans.
The head of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, Yuriy Ruban, stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Putin turns the Sea of Azov into a Russian lake, he will then turn the Black Sea into a Russian lake in the same way. This means that the entire southern flank of NATO will be under attack, and this will mean that Russia will have a direct corridor to the Balkans. It is no coincidence that one of the most energetic statements condemning such a policy was made, for example, by the leadership of Romania, because it is clear what they are talking about. Because if there is a blockade of these ports, then Russian ships will stand at the entrance to Constanta and at the mouth of the Danube,” the official suggested.
