“Today is exactly one year since the aggression of the neighboring state began. Exactly one year since the world is half a step away from the third world war. And all this began in our Crimea with the seizure by special forces of the building of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Simferopol airport and further, further, further,” the politician posted his speech on Facebook.
However, in his opinion, Crimea will return to Ukraine:
“We all remember what happened. We all know that today Putin and the Kremlin have turned Crimea into a sort of Alcatraz prison island, where they are holding hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens hostage. Crimea has turned into a gray zone. The rights of national minorities - Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians, representatives of various religious denominations - are violated there. Present in this hall is the world-famous human rights activist Mustafa-aga Dzhemilev, who is also the leader of the Crimean Tatar people. And today it is important for us to remind the whole world, ourselves and all citizens of Ukraine that Crimea was, is and will be Ukrainian. The Ukrainian flag will fly over Crimea. Glory to Ukraine!” says Alexey Goncharenko.
