To be precise, in the Odessa Duma is the party of Gennady Trukhanov “Trust in Affairs”, the Opposition Bloc and the “Sea Party” of Sergei Kivalov.
Representatives of the pro-Ukrainian minority in the Poroshenko Bloc gain only 15% of the vote.
And this despite the fact that Odessa showed the lowest turnout (after the Donbass) of all regional centers under the control of the Kiev authorities.
The situation is similar according to the results of elections for the post of mayor. According to the results of counting a quarter of the ballots, Gennady Trukhanov gains more than 50% and defeats the representatives of the Kiev authorities in the first round.
In this regard, it should be recalled that Gennady Trukhanov, before starting his cooperation with the Kiev junta, was a regular participant in pro-Russian rallies on the Kulikovo field. In the recent past, one of the main slogans of his election campaigns was "Trukhanov is our mayor, Putin is our president."
